UK's cancer death rate has fallen 16% in last 20 years

Despite the progress, Cancer Research UK says there is"still a long way to go" as cancer targets are still being missed and the UK lags behind other comparable countries.The overall cancer death rate has fallen 16% since Cancer Research UK was founded, according to new data from the charity.

Factors are said to include improvements to screening programmes, research into more effective treatments, and strategies that help stop cancer from forming in the first place.with a 33% decrease.

Could it be that the last few years people haven’t been going to get diagnosed for cancers due to vivid being the only thing the world concentrated on

How is Cancer UK lagging so far behind other comparable countries when it comes to research & treatment?

What has happened to the rates in the US? For comparison or France? I bet we are lagging behind
