Students who sometimes live in cars, and frail elderly, have a better Christmas thanks to Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center.

Piles of gifts separated into groups lined a parking structure at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center on Thursday afternoon, Dec. 15, for the hospital’s annual Adopt a Family and Adopt a Senior program.

“You know, we’ve had a lot of things over the years, and so we like to make their holiday time memorable,” Davis-Wright said. “We got together with Tarzana Medical Center. … For 20-plus years we’ve been coordinating with them. Their departments get gifts for us and deliver them to the students in need.”

Hospital employees load boxes of gifts to be delivered to families in need during the Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center Adopt a Family and Adopt a Senior program at the Tarzana medical center, Thursday, Dec 15, 2022.

CT_Bergstrom A bunch of glittering generalities with no actual information.

Are You Aware of Medical Gaslighting?Having your symptoms dismissed by a medical provider is, unfortunately, a common experience. Here are some good reasons to listen to what your body is telling you. When my mother went to the hospital emergency room with her first stroke, sure that it was a stroke, she was sent home with a prescription for Prozac. That stroke cost her some peripheral vision. Most MDs and DOs aren't willing to look outside the 'box' . If they can't diagnose it in 20 seconds and write an Rx that treats the condition, they're just not interested. ae_society
