Vergeire said that the COVID-19 cases nationwide are six percent higher compared to the “previous two weeks” averaging 1,181 new cases per day.

Despite this, the official said there is no need to panic since the healthcare system nationwide has not been overwhelmed. “Pero kapag tinignan natin ang ating mga hospital admissions, lahat po ng regions sa ating country ngayon would have a low risk case classification. Sa ating admissions naman, wala tayong sinasabing high risk level,” she also said.
