As stakeholders brainstorm on action steps to advance the nutrition data value chain in the country, the minister of state for budget and national planning,

Prince Clement Agba, has said that the country must take urgent steps to close the nutrition gaps created by the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change.

The minister stated this yesterday at the National Nutrition Data and Results Conference, organised by the ministry with support from the Civil Society Scaling-Up Nutrition in Nigeria and other partners, in Abuja. Stressing the need to invest in nutrition, Agba said investment in nutrition has effects for years to come adding that every child has the opportunity to survive and strive.
