The lack of research surrounding the effectiveness of integrated interventions and the increased interest in non-medication interventions fortreatment served as impetuses for the study. “Even though the effects of tDCS and cognitive training have been investigated separately, the effects of integration of these interventions are only beginning to be explored,” researchers said.
