The Department of Health on Saturday logged 3,165 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the nationwide tally to 3,904,133.

Based on the past two weeks, the National Capital Region had the most cases with 8,335, followed by Calabarzon with 3,533, Central Luzon with 2,254, Western Visayas with 1,154, and Davao Region with 1,004.Thirty-nine new fatalities were reported, bringing the death toll to 62,288.As of Friday, the country’s bed occupancy rate was 26.7%, with 7,669 beds occupied while 21,093 were vacant.A total of 18,866 individuals were tested on Friday, while 339 testing laboratories submitted data.
