Warning “the status quo is just not working” in health care, Premier Doug Ford is rallying his counterparts in Atlantic Canada to change the way medical services are delivered.

Ford, who also had a private one-on-one meeting with Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic Leblanc, said the premiers also need additional money from Ottawa.“I had a phenomenal conversation with Minister Leblanc today and he wants to work with us. He’s done a great job and working with all the premiers but I did mention to him ... I can’t have a conversation alone,” the Ontario premier said.

“Ford isn’t even spending his own health-care budget — last year, he left $1.8 billion in health funding sitting in the bank,” said Gélinas. Prince Edward Island Premier Dennis King agreed there’s a need to “deliver health care a little bit differently, changing the scope” of services delivered.

Awe the Premiers .. not sure in what order but Shakespeare describes them best .. 'A most notable coward, an infinite and endless liar, an hourly promise breaker, and the owner of no one good quality.

The Star Editorial Board says: Any move that increases the role of the private sector in public healthcare must be done carefully With a focus that ensures the public interest is served, **not private profit**

Ford is correct. The status quo under his leadership is an epic failure. Pay nurses well, fund to open and staff all the closed OR in hospitals and fund eye and dental care too. That’s not the status quo. It’s just common sense.

Backsheesh. Ford going to share that American OLIGARCH wealth coming after our healthcare with other Premiers.

he underfunded it by over 2 billion…

What a bunch of parasites! The CPC_HQ Premiers received additional Federal $5B+ COVID19 funding that have gone missing! OntarioAuditor can't find it! Here's the answer! They're fiscally incompetent & they want 🇨🇦 to bail them out or pay for more highways!

Because people like Ford burnt it to the ground.

A female, no matter how good at her job, how accomplished and successful, always has a male foot pressing down on her neck, pressing down to the bare floor for no reason other misogyny, selfishness, greed f…..male ego. The problem is that after 54, you are not wanted as a TV viewer. Advertisers actually won't pay for old viewers. My guess is they are trying to attract younger viewers to keep ad revenue up. Blame advertising. It really doesn’t matter who reads the news but what does matter is how a long term employee, a woman that let her hair turn its natural colour, was let go probably because of her age.
