Not vaccinating children against polio is one of the most selfish acts there is. Vaccine hesitancy with covid annoys me, but I can at least understand where it comes from. It's still all too new etc etc. Not so with polio. There's no excuse for this in a first world country.
We seem to be experiencing a global resurgence of old viruses in the Western context. Polio, monkey pox, diptheria. How wierd. What a tremendous coincidence. I guess we'll *never* know.
