‘I am ashamed of Justin Trudeau.’ PM defends Russian turbine deal, plus other letters to the editor for July 17

: Unlike other letter-writers from Ontario, we don’t have any problem charging our electric vehicle wherever we go in rural British Columbia.

There are insufficient numbers of mechanics trained in EVs at dealerships to quickly diagnose problems, and a seeming reluctance on the part of manufacturers to train up independent mechanics. Furthermore, many of the components specific to the electric motor are not kept in stock in North America, resulting in long delays awaiting parts.

JTSingh..an international embarrassment

🖕🖕🙄

'ashamed'.. thats it? Cdns were told 2 accept censorship, inflation, recession, food/energy shortage, so 2 fight RU for UK Liberty. yet Zel has jailed UK Oppos Poli, seized Party assets & shut down certain media & JTs now helping RU w/ pipeline?🤣🤣🤣 Many born at night.. LOL

The question must be, would not returning the turbine to Germany help the longer term goal of not allowing Russia to succeed in Ukraine. I'm not sure the Germans have the resolve but they need to survive short term and we need to support an ally. I'm not ashamed of the decision.
