Health officers remanded over bribes for funerals

TWO assistant health officers were remanded for five days from today until May 31 to assist in a RM15,000 corruption case for accepting bribes for funeral arrangement services. The remand order for the 40- and 42-year-old suspects was issued by Magistrate Nur Faizah Abdul Sani against the two suspects to assist in the investigation under section 17 of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission 2009 for accepting bribes.
