I took time to contemplate the risks and the benefits, and I've chosen not to Opt Out. I suspect people who have opted out will be discriminated against in future because of it. If you have a serious health problem, you'd probably want an integrated health profile for treatment.

If you think carefully about this you will see your private data shared and no one responsible for it ... except maybe Russian, Chinese or Iranian hackers, but not the Australian government.

Except that the benefits have never been disclosed. Imagine if the $2B wasted had instead been spent on doctors or hospitals or nearly anything else.

Oh yes, I understand the benefits, however the risks of poor treatment being recorded as recommended courses of action, absence of ethical oversight, and multiple government cybersecurity breaches outweigh them.

It’s not that people don’t want a system like this it’s that they don’t trust this shitty-ass government to do it with any amount of competence.

I see the benifits of this I defiantly do however the risks of who can access it the fact the the extra privacy and security measures wouldn’t be put in place till after the roll out, the potential for privatisation of your health record and on selling of data.

With the history of failed implementation , trust failed for this coalition government as only represent the selfish greedy bullies in society

MyHealth system: Most who think carefully about this understand the risks, says many people with IT experience. Both statements in isolation are not a reflection of reality, which requires both views to be contrasted and balanced before one can make an informed decision.

I understand the benefits, I just don’t think they’re worth the risks. costbenefit myhealthrecord auspol
