The president of the Canadian Medical Association says provinces like Alberta are 'gaslighting' health-care workers over the toll the COVID-19 crisis is taking on the health-care system.

OTTAWA -- The president of the Canadian Medical Association says provinces like Alberta are "gaslighting" health-care workers over the toll the COVID-19 crisis is taking on the health-care system.

Together, they called on governments to address staffing shortages across Canada and provide "immediate relief" to those working in COVID-19 hot zones. The organizations are also particularly concerned about growing surgical backlogs and the effect that will have on patients' quality of life for the years to come.

The CFN wanted to see the summit continue to focus their advocacy on the health workers shortage, which has been exacerbated by exhausted nurses and other workers leaving the industry entirely.

Reactions to hair dye, skin rashes raise questions of how COVID-19 impacts immune systemSome reports of unexpected skin rashes among those previously infected with COVID-19 add to ongoing questions over how the disease impacts the immune system. Glad to see CTV concerned with the side effects of hair dye, instead of the mandatory experimental vaccine. 🤡 Hair loss too The title is misleading since the article states that it seems both people who have had COVID and those vaccinated seem to have increased reactions... Maybe it’s because both trigger your immune response in a new way🧐
