Non-medical frontliners, tricycle drivers receive cash assistance from San Juan LGU READ:

The San Juan City local government has distributed the P3,000 cash assistance to various non-medical frontliners and Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association drivers and operators in its bid to help them amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

According to San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora, a total of 1,300 individuals have received the P3,000 cash aid during the payout event held at the FilOil Flying V Centre. “Naghandog po tayo ng financial assistance sa mga non-medical frontliners natin bilang pasasalamat at pagkilala sa kanilang patuloy na paglilingkod sa ating mga COVID-19 response at intervention programs ,” Zamora said.

“Kasabay nito ay nagkaloob din tayo ng tulong pinansyal sa mga TODA drivers at operators ng San Juan bilang pag-alalay natin sa kanilang kabuhayan ngayong panahon ng pandemya ,” he added On September 13, the LGU also distributed P3,000 cash assistance to around 1,000 barangay workers from 21 barangays in the city.Zamora also said that that the LGU previously gave financial assistance to the city’s medical frontliners and city hall employees. Medical frontliners working in San Juan were given P5,000 cash while city hall employees received P3,000.
