Image: Brian Lawless/PA A GOVERNMENT MINISTER has appealed to communities to wait a little longer before holding communions and confirmations.
Guidelines advise the public that baptisms, communions and confirmations should not take place. Baptisms can take place from August 5. The public health advice is still very clear in relation to being cautious in relation to the advice around communions, and confirmation. “The important thing here, in relation to communions and confirmations, is while it is frustrating to to see these delays, no one’s going to get hurt by waiting a little bit longer to avail of it and to have that special day.”“There is a reality out here that people are still becoming infected by Covid. People are still going into hospital by Covid.
They can have their communion in Croke Park. It’s good enough for the Muslims.
Hot Fuzz Full pubs Full Restaurants 40000 croke Park Mass ok Christenings ok No communion No confirmations Hot Fuzz Ulitarianism gone mad Oh the logic 🙄
No we've been patient long enough.
So COVID is so Sophisticated it can tell the difference between a wedding, baptism and communion and confirmation.
No. It'll be 'just another 2 weeks' for the next 6 months. Clearly, the Church's defiance is now forcing an inept and disrespectful government to listen. They should have started 9 months ago.
My understanding is that once the number in the church does not exceed the allowed limit - then it shouldn’t matter if it’s the first or 200th Communion - it’s the partying that is thought to be the super spreading event!
