The health advice for who should get the AstraZeneca vaccine has changed again. Here is what you need to know.

reduces with age. For people aged under 50, there are 3.1 cases of TTS per 100,000 doses. This reduces to 1.9 cases for those aged 80 and above:

The risk of dying from COVID-19 increases with age. The rates depend on the country you live in and your sex., for instance, the death rate was reportedly: for under-50s, less than 1 per cent, 50 to 59 years, 1.3 per cent, 60 to 69 years, 3.6 per cent, 70 to 79 years, 8 per cent, and 80 and above, 14.8 per cent.with COVID-19 aged in their 50s, one person died and 18 required admission to a hospital intensive care unit.

Today’s change demonstrates the strength and robustness of the ongoing surveillance of adverse events of vaccines and our regulators’ commitment to ensure the safety of the community receiving these vaccines.

Dear god, they are absolutely useless.

What we need to know is that AZ is rubbish. Ever considered that? Follow the money to get some insight.

Confusing

this tweet is refreshingly clear of muppets tweeting that they have had the AZ shot and havent died yet, so obviously the experts are wrong

Why should the over 60s remain the only guinea pigs for the AZ jab? Are they the disposable end of society? This is a disgrace. Why doesn't this inept government just can this vaccine, as they have in some European countries.

SBS And Australians OVER 60 will NOT be taking the AstraZeneca crap Over60sSayNoToAstraZeneca Auspol

Lucky them; it's still the clot shot for over 60s. And do note: 'Paul Griffin is part of AstraZeneca's Advisory Board.'

In early April, The Netherlands suspended use of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine for people under 60 following the death of a woman who had received a shot. Why didn’t Australia follow at the time - and avoid the death of a 52yr old?

Flogging Astrazenaca when PfizerForAll is far more effective against AlphaVariant & DeltaVariant was & is a decision based on expediency, NOT heath science. Pfizer give 92% protection for AlphaVariant and 79% for DeltaVariant. AstraZeneca numbers are 73% and 60%. 🙄

no doubt it will change again next week

Could the government have ordered more Pfizer so everyone was safe and no lives were lost? auspol

Now GHunt will give a yawntastic press conference on it. We should’ve stuck with Pfizer for all like NZ has. However ClottyFromMarketing and his bunch of hot air peddlers (advisers) thought otherwise. What an omnishambles the vax rollout has turned out to be auspol

Should under 60s get a second dose of AstraZeneca? The health advice is clearHealth officials say if you've already received one dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine, you should get a second regardless of your age. Covid19 is going down in aus history as the most deadliest vaccine PMSL It frustrates me that our health bureaucrats are sprouting lies about mix-n-match of vaccines in the face of multiple international studies, expressly to support the government’s rollout program. Pfizer/AZ combo is being offered in several countries, including Canada.

Doctors warn over 50s cancelling appointments despite experts saying second doses are safeHealth experts say getting a second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine is safe, but doctors say patients are cancelling their appointments following changing health advice. Of course they are. And so are over 60s. That's because we never wanted AZ in first place. It was forced on us.
