Health authorities in NSW are urgently contacting moviegoers who visited a cinema at a busy Westfield shopping centre in Sydney, after an eastern suburbs man tested positive for COVID-19.
A person who lives with the man also tested positive late on Wednesday evening, and further venues of concern were added to the list of places that both had visited while potentially infectious.The eastern suburbs man, who is in his 60s, works as a driver transporting international flight crew, and receives daily saliva swabs on shift.Over the course of five days from Friday, June 11, the man was active across the Sydney suburbs of Bondi Junction, Vaucluse, and North Ryde.
