Chief Health Officer Brett Sutton says he wants the AFL to return in Victoria but does not want crowds as long as the Kappa variant of COVID-19 is around.

“People who haven't had face-to-face contact, people ...

who haven't been in a restaurant together, we are talking about people who maybe have passed each other in a shared corridor, or maybe have walked through the same space at different times with the virus just sitting around as an airborne fog. That's the challenge,” Mr Sutton said. “I don't want that to be spread through a sporting event, so we just need to see how this week pans out.”

OF course he would prefer not to ! As if anyone would impose these restrictions unless they had to. To protect the community . Any inference otherwise is pathetically childish , some people act like adults and professionals in the field follow the science they are trained in !

What do they say about a small amount of power. This blokes seriously enjoying his 15 mins of fame.
