An Alice Springs health organisation is given 150 doses of the Pfizer vaccine left over from another vaccination campaign. But they have to be used before they expire at the end of the day.

Dozens of people have beaten an end-of-day Pfizer vaccine expiry deadline by lining up for a jab in Alice Springs.Dozens of people lined up early in Alice Springs to get a jabThe vaccinations were offered on Saturday morning by the Central Australian Aboriginal Congress, which was given 150 doses left over from disability services in the town.

Congress CEO Donna Ah Chee said 57 clients were given Pfizer jabs on Friday and was happy to see the turnout on Saturday morning.Nicole Mazga was one of the dozens of people patiently waiting in the queue.
