South Australia has blocked international flights for the past three days over concerns an incoming service carrying passengers from India could overwhelm the state's quarantine system. Three flights were diverted because of the ban which was lifted just hours after it was publicly announced.

The news was initially kept hidden from the media or broader public but it is now known the Coalition allowed South Australia to impose an indefinite suspension on all international flights. Hours after the suspension was revealed SA Health lifted the restriction as more hotel quarantine rooms became available.

'Disturbing' error: SA Health computer glitch adds digit to medication dosagesNursing and midwifery staff are put on alert for a glitch in the Sunrise computer system that can cause the last digit of medication dosages to be duplicated — meaning a 10mg dose may display as 100mg. And this is why we need humans to check things. The same reason robodebt went wrong and 2000 people ended up dead from it You'd be shocked to know while errors do happen - most nurses tend to question orders asking you to give 100mg of a drug usually given at 1/10th that dose. We're not damn idiots. Trust computers, yeah nah.
