Think tank said Malaysia is not ready yet for large-scale elections which enable voters to safely participate in campaign activities.
Galen Centre for Health and Social Policy chief executive Azrul Mohd Khalib said the country was still struggling with the consequences of last year’s Sabah election. “We have to acknowledge the fact that Malaysia is unable to organise large-scale elections which enable voters to safely participate in campaign activities and cast their votes during a communicable disease pandemic,” Azrul said in a statement. He said Malaysia’s third wave, which could be traced to last September after the Sabah polls, showed no signs of improving.
Malays need to break free from the stupidity of allowing Malay race being enslaved. Malays need to realise all the promise of privileged and Bumiputra status by UMNO had only led the Malay population poorer while the kleptocrates and their cronies build up their billions.
Be it 10 fold or 100 fold, UMNO kleptocrates don't care. The people's lives or livelihood doesn't concern them nor they give a d% about it. All they care about is to return Malaysia back to kleptocracy so that they can rob, plunder and steal without consequences of law.
Ain't that a norm
Yes. Parliament should have been used last year for a no confidence vote and formation of new govt but politicians on both sides of the aisle are too selfish. Power corrupted them. Some want to hang on, others are desparate for it.
