Victoria has become the welfare state thanks to the “scandalously stupid decisions” of the Daniel Andrews government, according to Sky News host Rita Panahi. Victoria’s second wave has so far claimed over 780 lives with 99 per cent of cases linked back to the failures of hotel quarantine which was put in the hands of untrained security guards. The state’s death rate per million of the population is 116, a number far higher than the rest of Australia’s rate of less than five per million.
