The changes – which come into effect on October 1 – will open Queensland to 152,000 people who will not be required to hotel quarantine. Deputy Premier Steven Miles said it would help people in communities which had ties across borders.
“These are people who might live in NSW but very often they feel a closer affinity to Queensland. They live closer to Queensland than Sydney,” he said. The deputy premier said Queensland residents would be allowed to travel to the designated NSW towns and vice versa, “relatively freely” for health care, work and to visit loved ones.
It’s amazing what the pressure of losing an election will do .
Not one case of community transmission outside of Sydney for months and this mole continues her fruitless crusade to eliminate the flu in Australia all while traveling around QLD with flu like symptoms 😂😂😂😂
Polls must be turning against her hysteria and lunacy. Vote out AnnastaciaMP for her incompetence or Queensland will be bankrupt inside 3 years with no jobs.
Whilst welcome, once again the hypocrisy is astounding....QLD hospitals for Qlders one day, we are the same as Northern NSW the next...the politicking is reliant upon a moronic electorate....they may have a point....
