The Police Command in Cross River State has offered to enroll retirees from its service in the National Health Insurance Scheme NHIS.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state command, DSP Irene Ugbo announced all retired Police Officers resident in the state to visit any Area Command closest to them to enroll. She noted that they are to go along with their National Identity Card, their letter if Retirement as well as their Retired Identity Card.The Police statement issued in Calabar also noted that the enrollment in south-south States is slated for September 21st to 23rd, 2020, and that male Police officer is permitted to enroll their wives, same applicable to female retirees.
“Examinations will take place simultaneously in all the centers across the country on Thursday 17th September 2020. “Candidates are to note that the initial venue at Ogoja has now been changed to the University of Calabar ICT E-Library Center, Calabar. Candidates are advised to come along with writing materials, acknowledgment cards, JAMB slip, and all relevant credentials for documentation by 7.am on the said date.”
