“This situation is worrying, because they play an important role as the backbone of the national health system,” he said. “So far, there are no MOH health workers who were infected with Covid-19 during management of patients confirmed to be Covid-19 positive in the Covid-19 ward, or in the Intensive Care Unit . Therefore, it is very important for health workers to ensure that Covid-19 infection prevention measures are observed at all times, especially while on duty,” he added.
