Selangor cops target 5% drop in crime index

SELANGOR police are targeting a 5% reduction in the state crime index following the launch of their latest crime prevention operation today.

Selangor crime prevention and community safety department chief K. Kumaran said police were focusing on reducing crime because the state’s crime index was high, especially after the enforcement of the recovery movement control order .
