Dr Ronan Glynn issues warning to 4 counties over 'substantial' cases rise

Dr Ronan Glynn has issued a warning to four counties over a "substantial" number of coronavirus cases over the last two weeks.

"But to a certain extent what we're seeing in Dublin now is a reversion to the situation we would have seen earlier in the padnemic. "That’s not to say we’re contemplating anything in those counties, but it is a message to people in those counties in particular to take extra care and follow the guidance."The county had been under a mini-lockdown for over three weeks due to a huge surge in the number of Covid-19 cases.
