DOH slammed for misinformation on COVID origin in PH

Binay said the DOH should remember that the disease originated from Chinese tourists from Wuhan, China who were positively identified as the first carriers of the novel coronavirus in the Philippines.

Vergeire made the statement even after the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine released a study on the gene sequencing on COVID-19 showing that the original strains of the disease came from Wuhan, the center of China’s Hubei province. “Seryoso?! So, di pala sa turistang Chinese galing ang COVID sa Pilipinas. But would the DOH be willing to explain to us kung sino ang nagdala at kung paano nakalusot ang COVID sa atin? ” Binay stressed.

Binay said such pronouncement from the DOH is the very reason why the COVID-19 issue in the Philippines remain unresolved.

SenatorBinay do u understand what genome sequencing is? Are u an expert now on infectious disease? EdselSalvana can u please educate this most low IQ senator we have on the study of genome and the science of it. But then maybe her brain is too small for it..

They just wanted to shift the blame for not doing a lockdown early just like the best performing countries in Asia such as Taiwan, Vietnam, Korea and Thailand to name a few. It's ok to admit mistake in managing the fight against Covid but to claim otherwise makes it glaring!
