Victorian Chief Medical Officer Andrew Wilson said there had been 2692 cases of COVID-19 among Victorian healthcare workers as of August 23, most occurring in July and August.
In hospitals, 70 per cent of infections were among nurses, while about 11 per cent were doctors, the data showed. At NSW hospital Fever Clinic last week NO nurses were wearing N95 masks, just surgical/duckbill masks and face shields. I witnessed a nurse talking a nasal swab trigger a reflex sneeze (common) and the area was awash with droplets and aerosol spread! Where is the appropriate PPE?
Highly infectious in close quarters. Only unicorns were going to stop that. There are no unicorns on earth. We can't citizen arrests the govt for that!
