Alexei Navalny is being treated in Berlin after Russian doctors initially refused to move the opposition leader. His supporters suspect they were ordered not to allow him to travel until the poison was out of his system.

The 44-year-old politician is fighting for his life, on a respirator but in stable condition. Doctors will be running a series of diagnostic tests to determine whether he was poisoned. Navalny's supporters suspect that tea he drank in a Siberian airport was tampered with, noting that poisoning is a common tactic the Russian government has turned to in the past when dealing with critics.

It's not the first time Russia has been suspected of holding on to dissidents until poison was no longer detectable. Something similar happened in 2018 to Pyotr Verzilov, a Russian dissident and former spokesman of the band Pussy Riot."The similarities here are striking, not only in the medical condition, but also in the behavior of Russian law enforcement officials and doctors," he said.

Friday, formally asking to move one of President Vladimir Putin's biggest critics from the Siberian hospital. At the time, a special evacuation plane was already waiting to take the politician to be cared for by specialists in Germany.

Or until it had done so much damage he won’t recover

There are many toxins available that are quick acting and very lethal. I can't help but think that when the Russian state poisons its enemies, it does so in such a way that is deliberately public, slow acting, and excruciatingly painful in order to warn future critics.

How can anyone vote for Trump when he is clearly in BED with Putin the Dictator. Let's just call Putin what he is. If he had honest elections he would lose. That is why he is mentoring Trump, hoping to turn us into complacent American/Russian stooges! Vote the SOB out this Nov.

This is how democracy works under trumps mentor.

I keep reading that charitable narrative, and fear he was not released until the poison had done its work. Nevertheless, I hope the medics will BuildBackBetter Navalny.

Hope they don’t forget to look for it in his vitreous. 😉

No statement from the White House?

Sure Jan German doctors already examined Mr 2% Support AlexeiNavalny in Omsk Emergency Hospital

DiscoveryID should do a 'Deadly Women' spin-off on Putin, complete with over-the-top narration and Candice DeLong analysis. He gets away with every poisoning and person 'falling' out of their window, but maybe the world would finally identify him as a sociopath.

Lol

If trump gets re-elected this is what we will have to deal with here in the USA. BidenHarris
