Prince William speaks to the Peter Crouch Podcast about his experience of lockdown, importance of football... and karaoke.

The guest on this week's That Peter Crouch Podcast is none other than Prince William.

"I need to go and be amongst other guys and let out some steam, shout a bit," he explains, joking he stops short of abusing the referee."I'm the president of the FA and I can't do that!" "I found it pretty testing, trying to keep the children engaged and interested in some sort of work," he says."It's been an interesting few months.

He was also attracted to Villa's proud history - William was born in 1982, when they, as English champions, won the European Cup. "I kept saying to him, 'see, he's following you'," William laughed:"It put him off for about 10 minutes!"When Crouch and the team ask William if - in his role as president of the FA, he might get rid of Gareth Southgate were England to have a bad run of games - he concedes that"that might be a bit difficult!".

Excellent work, mental health is such an important issue!👏

You are doing an awesome job 👏👏👏 PrinceWilliam

Prince William talking about mental health, did you say? Thank goodness he sets a fine example by treating newcomers to his family impeccably, being so comfortable with difference he only mixes with his own kind, and is not short of glib words to say on the subject! Give thanks.

Showing support to this cause is fantastic. Well done all

In the game of chess, the Queen protects the King.

Mental health, are you pricks joking? Try sleeping on the streets, no food, no prospects and the pandemic hanging over you. The homeless in the UK know about mental health and 2 millionaires discuss it? Go fu yourselves. Ask the homeless

Please don't waste my time with these anachronistic non-entities: down to the Job Centre with the Royal Family and their landed hangers-on.

Has Crouchy got a mad sister in law too?

lovecambridges_ Excellent cause, well done all! 👏💙

What’s all this weak kneed fruit and nutcase nonsense all about FFS just man up and grow a pair ....

Prince William enjoys the fake crowd noise, just when you think he couldn't be anymore of a lizard
