The Tacoma Mayor is pandering. The officers in this case used force to control a person who attacked them while in excited delirium. Then they called for immediate medical aid and tried to help him. There was appropriate force and medical aid. He died of a medical issue

Suspicions of this nature should result in more than one medical examiner present and involved in these autopsies. In case you haven’t heard, medical examiners can be extremely bias to support the cause of whoever they choose. Make certain that the cause of death is correct.
In 2019 nine unarmed black men were killed by white cops. Five of the cops were being attacked. Of the other four, two of the cops were prosecuted. 20 unarmed white men were killed by cops. It is not perfect but it also is not genocide.

The system treats the police as an employee who must be productive. Police are measured effective according to the number of arrests, prosecutors by convictions. This pressures the people to produce and what I think we see is counterfeit arrests and convictions. They’re made up!
Going to repeat this over and over: One of the reforms that *must* come from all this is that a cop fired for cause, such as *brutality*, MUST be barred from joining any other force.
If only the mayor had some power or knew someone who could do something like that.
This need to keep happening until cops start to think twice about using deadly force
