Trump threatens to withdraw U.S. from WHO, permanently cut all funding

President Donald Trump on Monday threatened to permanently cut off U.S. funding to the World Health Organization and pull the U.S. out of the group.

In a letter to WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus that he posted on Twitter on Monday night, Trump said if WHO"does not commit to major substantive improvements within the next 30 days, I will make my temporary freeze of United States funding to the World Health Organization permanent and reconsider our membership in the organization.

This would have a pretty devastating impact on the world economy. Undeveloped countries rely heavily on the WHO for their healthcare needs. In the long run, this would limit economic activity in several major zones. Finance Energy Housing Stanford

The WHO is an important body, which besides Coronavirus assists many countries in many areas . It needs reform, but cutting its umbilical cord is counterproductive!

Ban the Un ,who, CDC they all shady from what I've witnessed! How can you give billions to these company's who don't help the world? The money alone divided from those 3 can make everyone on earth healthy and wealthy why don't CDC go after company's who produce diabetic foods
