UK's 7,000 gyms prepare for post-lockdown health warning

Every day during the coronavirus lockdown, the government has hammered home the need for the public to take daily exercise. The irony is that the UK’s more than 7,000 gyms and leisure centres are shut, leaving the population to improvise with Joe Wicks on YouTube and cobbled-together workouts in the park.

Gym management can’t trust their own customers to use equipment safely/hygienically and we wanna open primary schools

DO THEY MAKE ANY MONEY

Mind when nobody went to gyms?

Just yesterday I went to cancel my David Lloyd’s membership, I don’t see how gyms will meet hygienic requirements? You have to be supplied gloves, masks to wipe down the equipment, limiting the amount of people in the gym at peak times and ensuring social distancing.
