Always teachers, what about school receptionists, teaching assistants, cleaners, catering, educational one to one support assistants

In which case their pay should be stopped.

Fine - then forgo your wage. That’s your choice and it’s not fair on the rest of us that you should get to do both.

As far as I concern anyone can refuse - health and safety.

Too right.

I have to work, why are they so special? I hope it will be without pay.

That's fine but we should be able to legally refuse to pay their wages.

Never should have closed on the first place. Just union stooges like the premiers

They were doing a shitty job anyway.

All employees have the right to refuse to work if they feel health and safety is at risk. They do not however have the right to continue receiving pay, see how long the schools are shut once teachers are not getting paid!! 😂😂

Glad to hear that teachers have a right to look after their health!as many teachers will die if forced back!

It’s not just primary schools though. It’s years 10 and 12 and colleges. But the news is only about primary children

I can see the strike busting scab 2nd year undergraduates 8 weeks behind on their rent lining up with the riot horses and SPG plod outside every nursary school as we speak

We've decided we can no longer serve Teachers in our stores, as they pose a risk we're simply unable to accept. See how it works yet? 😘

Schools have seen what has happened to care homes. They do not want to be next.
