UK coronavirus live: 'we are at the peak' of outbreak says health secretary Matt Hancock

This is what Matt Hancock said in his opening statement about the UK being at the peak of the pandemic. He said: We are at the peak. But before we relax any social distancing rules or make changes to them we have set out the five tests that have to be met.

How can we know we're at the peak? Until after the peak?

The only peak we have reached seems to be the flow rate of government lies.

Do we not realize already that playing this blame game is what starts wars? What is done is done. We have to pick up the pieces and move on!

So when do we get our basic human right back? Freedom! House arrest is a waste of time.

Not even close MattHancock is a disgrace and will get people killed. Not enough testing, not accurate numbers. They are still rising.

Here in South Africa we got the SAME NEWS.. Wait 4 the 'peak'? We locked down 26march-1May. They are mistaking the word Peak for HYPE so the hypes over.. FakeNews again ..

But you can never say 'we are at the peak' because it can only be assessed in hindsight. That said, it looks like the peak (for this wave, at least) might have passed.

How do we know when people are not being tested widely enough? And the airports are still open...
