: The Ministry of Health has outlined six criteria that should be met before the government can lift the Movement Control Order .
“We are monitoring our data everyday on whether the MCO will be extended or not. We have not yet made a decision, but for sure, we have six criteria that have to be met before the MCO can be lifted,” he told a daily press conference on Covid-19, here today.
“For example, we use Polymerase Chain Reaction of 24 to 48 hours. If possible, we want to reduce the time to carry out PCR test to less than 24 hours. Dr Noor Hisham said it is also important to implement measures to protect the high-risk group, such as the elderly, the disabled and those with comorbidities.
