National Public Health Emergency Team to meet to discuss restrictions and childcare

The National Public Health Emergency Team are meeting again today to discuss the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions and childcare arrangements for healthcare workers.

New cases will also be on the agenda as they review the existing restrictions aimed at reducing the spread of virus. The Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tony Holohan also stressed yesterday that nursing homes and long-term residential facilities are a "testing priority" after criticism of the handling of the outbreaks.
