Making public wear masks would prevent many getting sick and passing to those who end up in hospital and therefore reduce L/T hospital burden. Look at Thailand, highest public mask use, less than 30 new hospital cases per day

People can make their own masks. These might not be as 'comfortable' or as effective but are much! better than nothing. The selfmade masks still reduce the risk of spreading Covid strongly. Every little helps!

There’s only about a thousand YouTube videos on how to make masks and a thousand people on the internet willing to sell you homemade cloth masks.
Just encourage folks to make and wear their own cloth ones. It can help remind them not to touch their faces, if nothing else, and it offers minimal protection against airborne droplets. JUST WASH THEM REGULARLY. Be well. ;)
