Vital delivery of 84 tonnes of protective equipment for NHS is delayed

However, an unknown delay means the shipment, including 400,000 surgical gowns, will not yet be able to be used in the NHS.

ControlUrHealth Talk about flights still coming into the uk.The other morning on tele at least they interviewed a female pilot who had just got back along with 6 other pilots who flew out in a passenger plane to bring back a massive amount of PPE equipment stacked up on the passenger seats.

ControlUrHealth This is it, it’s announced that all this equipment is due to be delivered to the uk which would help the situation ,then it’s delayed till when?. Of course the media will keep on about the NHS not having the equipment but what can they do with situations like this happening.

This is good news, though it reminds me of the proverb of locking the stable door, when the horse has already bolted! I just heard over the radio even though they have arrived, there still delays in getting them where they are needed.

We should be making this stuff here instead of begging other countries for it! There was a time when we taught the world how to make stuff like this!
