UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been discharged from hospital after spending nearly a week receiving treatment for coronavirus, but he will not immediately return to work.

In a statement released by Number 10, the Prime Minister said he owed the NHS staff his life after being treated in the Intensive Care Unit for

three nights. Mr Johnson was first admitted to hospital on April 5, but was transferred to intensive care after his symptoms worsened. Image: Getty

Never forget he was one of the ones cheering in 2017 as they ‘successfully’ blocked a desperately-needed pay rise for nurses... I hope the PM gets out of hospital soon so that he can channel his gratitude into helping UK healthcare workers save more lives. The shortage of essential PPE needs to be urgently addressed.
