His complacency nearly killed him, has already killed thousands and many more to come. Many thousands could have been saved if he'd acted sooner and got things in place, but he delayed and prevaricated at every step, and didn't even take basic hygiene precautions himself.
His laissez-faire attitude was what helped him get the virus. It is the reason others got the virus. PEOPLE DIED because of PM Johnson and they didn't have to. He survived with blood on his hands. I don't know how he can live with that but I suspect it doesn't bother him at all.
