Sabah Health director Datuk Christina Rundi said the six businesses ordered to close on Saturday were four factories, a restaurant and a sundry shop in Sandakan.
Dr Rundi said that the six were among 490 business premises checked statewide in joint operations with local authorities, police, Armed Forces and Rela. She also said that so far, nine of the 26 districts in Sabah were still green zones with no cases of Covid-19 detected. She noted that proactive measures by health officials in the area were creating awareness among the public on how to keep the disease at bay.Dr Rundi said that of the 10 new positive cases, the red zones of Tawau and Penampang had three each, and one each from Sandakan, Keningau, Kinabatangan and Tawau.
For post MCO, please instruct to resume business with guidelines. Not enough to say Please Open without a list of mandatory precautions. Then you have justification to penalise if they don't follow. The virus is not going away anytime soon.
