The Young Medical Laboratory Scientists Forum has faulted the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila on his statement that Nigeria has only two medical laboratory scientists that are experts in molecular testing.

Seems our leaders are not in touch with our realities.

Can you Imagine, the china doctors DrEOEhanire brought to Nigeria their govt train and spend money on their profession, all the money Nigeria ministers has been stealing can't they use it to train scientists in Nigeria, foolish Nigeria

He is wrong. However, if we are being honest, Nigerian Medical Laboratory Sciencists are not trained in molecular biology techniques and cannot carryout the current real time RT-qPCR employed for diagnosing the Covid-19.
