And please, for the love of all that is good in this cruel world, do not make value statements to your children based off their size or their food choices. A bagel will not make your daughter a “big fatty,” but speaking to her in that way can saddle her with a lifelong battle of disordered eating and mental health struggles, as well as compromise your relationship. Don’t do that your kid.
We can all work to do better, so we do not pass this bullshit on to the next generation. STFU about your diet already.
This isn’t the 1980’s. No one! Is feeling like this.
Amen 🙏🏼 I like my food texture consistent & artificial. Like Cheezits. You can’t honestly tell me that fruit or vegetables are a reliably consistent texture. saynotorabbitfood
I tried to read this article but the mobile ads were too disruptive. I’m in advertising, I get it, but I literally COULDN’T get content to load and my screen froze.
I don’t care about weight. Its about being healthy and a growing body has needs. It’s hard sometimes because I’m up against parents who frequent McDonalds, takeout and just garbage. Those drinks zero nutrition. This moms stance is awful but saying eat anything also toxic.
