The lawsuit alleges negligence and contends that during that initial timeframe, Nguyen went into cardiac arrest and was revived when Dr. Kim performed CPR. Kim did not respond to multiple messages left by CBS4, but his attorney, Kari Hershey, told CBS4 “As a physician, Dr. Kim is not at liberty to comment about any specific patient.”Finally, at 7:35 p.m., the lawsuit says Meeker, the nurse anesthetist, called 911. An ambulance was sent and Nguyen was transported to Littleton Adventist Hospital.
“To me it’s a miracle she pulled through all that and she is still fighting this. I don’t know how they can sleep at night knowing they did this to her. They ruined Emmalyn’s life, not just hers but all of ours.”
The entire Blame here is on the Parents , instead of educating the Poor girl & remind her how beautiful she is already & advice her to spend $6k on education, Travel, investment they allowed her to go under knife at that age ! This is very sad !

Hey there, onslaught of random judgies, the correct response is to acknowledge that all surgeries have inherent risks, pray that her brain can heal, and STFU about why you think someone might choose a certain surgery. The rest will be sorted out between the parties involved.

Too much anaesthesia causes respiratory arrest and then cardiac arrest. Lack of oxygen & blood, to the brain causes brain death after four minutes without CPR! Why wasn't 911 called?

Really sad story :( I remember working for a non surgical cosmetic company and so many teens would call the callcentre to request treatments. I was shocked. And telling them they need to be at least 18 yrs old to get a free consultation, made them really upset.
It's a real shame everyone is concerned with the type of surgery she had rather then what happened..

It’s really a shame that parents and family are ok with kids going through these types of procedures. Listen, anytime there’s an invasive procedure and an anesthesiologist is required, it’s is High Risk. Doesn’t matter what any doctor says. Everyone reacts differently.
18, and self worth based on boobs. Mother seems proud she “saved” 6000$ for it. How long has your teen felt not worth enough? She start saving at 12? 8? Guesses whether or not she saved for college too, or boobs more important than brains?
