Its corporate communications head Abdul Halem Mat Som said that as of 3pm today, Air Selangor mobilised 70 water tankers, 14 jumbo tank trucks and activated 11 PKS – which will operate 24 hours a day – to ensure that affected residents have adequate water supply during the disruption.
"Six more locations will be tonight, and before morning, we should have public taps at 14 locations to provide water supply to those affected by the disruption.Abdul Halem said that the water provision operation is massive, as it covers a wide area, and as such, Air Selangor may not be able to immediately meet consumers’ needs – but it is doing its best to supply water. However, he advised consumers in immediate need of water to visit their nearest PKS or ‘public taps’ .
