SEN. Christopher Lawrence “Bong Go” has warned illegal medical fixers from taking advantage of the Malasakit Center program.

“Binabalaan ko po ang mga illegal fixers. Mayroon po tayong batas laban sa mga manloloko ,” Go said, referring to Republic Act 9485, or the “Anti-Red Tape Act,” which punishes fixers, including government employees engaging in illicit transactions with fixers.

The senator issued the warning during the launch of the 56th Malasakit Center at the San Juan Medical Center on Thursday, making it easier for residents to avail of medical and financial services from the government. The center is also the 27th to open in Luzon. These agencies are the Department of Health , Department of Social Welfare and Development , Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office and Philippine Health Insurance Corp.
