Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go has warned illegal medical fixers against taking advantage of the Malasakit Center program.

‘’I am warning the illegal fixers. We have an existing law against cheaters,” Go said, referring to the Republic Act 9485 or the Anti-Red Tape Act which punishes illegal fixers, including government employees engaging in illicit transactions with fixers.

Go issued the warning during the launch of the 56th Malasakit Center in the country at the San Juan Medical Center that would make it easier for local residents to avail of medical and financial services from the government. The center was also the 27th to be opened in Luzon. These agencies are the Department of Health , Department of Social Welfare and Development , Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office and Philippine Health Insurance Corporation .
