NSTnation Petaling, Hulu Langat, Kuala Langat and Sepang facing water supply disruption

Air Selangor Sdn Bhd in a statement said the water treatment plant was shut down following an odour pollution incident in Sungai Semenyih, which is the main source of the plant’s raw water.

A river monitoring team made up of personnel from Air Selangor and the Selangor Water Management Authority has been mobilised to identify the source of odour contamination along the Semenyih River as well as its tributaries which may have contributed to the pollution.
