Apple, in combination with academic medical centers and health advocacy groups, is releasing a new research app.

Each of the new studies is a bit different in its design and scope. The movement-oriented study, for instance, requires that participants also have an Apple Watch. It was designed with Boston's Brigham and Women's Hospital and the American Heart Association and is intended to promote exercise and cardiovascular health, as well as to look warning signs for atrial fibrillation, which puts patients at greater risk for a stroke.

One thing that my parents made sure was we had was a good breakfast. A large bowl of Oat Meal everyday 365 days. Eggs, Bacon, Bake Beans, Toast and Tea in a pot (tea leaves) not bags.

Just to add family has never suffered heart or vascular problems, and no history of cancer of any kind. When my mother had me she was ill with scarlet fever.

Apple are welcome to my health family history, my mother a WW2 front-line nurse passed at 94, (shrapnel scars still visible on her body) my grandmother passed at 102 and her two sisters 104 & 102, all had their own veg patch and liked a drop of wine & cheese & drank pots of tea.
